The title of exhibition is derived from the novel, Brave New World
in which the years between 1918 to 1927 and the emergence of the
cheap and public T Henry Ford model is considered the historical
basis of giving in to utopian supremacy. The T model is a metaphor
of tabooed ignorance dissolving a group.
In a note on Aldous Huxley’s book, Seyyed Morteza Avini wrote,
‘Utopia is the terrestrial delusion of men of the lost paradise and
if the paradise is to be realized on earth it would be nothing more
than a mirage.’
